American Crabapple

$0.00
Sold Out

Malus coronaria

The American Crabapple is a charming, wildlife-friendly tree that adds year-round beauty to any landscape. Growing 15-25 feet tall, this small, ornamental tree bursts into life in spring with fragrant pink or white blossoms that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. By late summer and fall, it produces small, yellow to reddish crabapples that persist into winter, providing food for birds and other wildlife. Its lush green foliage turns brilliant shades of yellow, orange, or red in autumn, adding seasonal interest. Thriving in full sun and adaptable to various soil types, the American Crabapple is low-maintenance and perfect for homeowners looking to enhance their yard with stunning blooms, fall color, and ecological benefits. Ideal for borders, wildlife gardens, or as a lovely standalone specimen.

  • Reserved trees can be picked up at the Sand Hill Nursery on Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. or Wednesday between 4 - 7 p.m. More details will be provided in the order confirmation email.

  • Please note that availability and price may vary throughout the sale due to the available size and stock quality. More tree species may be added as our nursery manager deems them ground-ready.

  • The actual height of trees varies from 1' to 6'.
