The Black Cherry is a magnificent, versatile tree that brings both beauty and practical benefits to any landscape. Growing 40-60 feet tall, this tree features a graceful, rounded canopy with glossy, dark green leaves that turn a rich, vibrant red in the fall. In late spring, it produces clusters of small, fragrant white flowers, which give way to dark, glossy cherries that are enjoyed by birds and can be used in jams or pies. The Black Cherry’s distinctive, dark, scaly bark adds texture and interest throughout the year.
