Next Tree Distributions: March 15 & 20!
Sunday, March 15 is our first tree distribution, sponsored by Arbor Day Foundation and Verizon! Pickup will be from 10 am to 2 pm
Friday, March 20 we are hosting a Nursery Open House and Tree Distribution! Open house will be between 11 am - 4 pm. Tree pick-ups begin at 10 am.
Both events will be at Sand Hill Nursery. Pickup directions are included in your order confirmation email.

Tree Distribution FAQs

Tree distribution seasons are fall (October-December) and spring (March-May).

Typically at Sand Hill Nursery (24 Apac Circle, Candler, NC 28715, housed within the Buncombe County Sports Park).
Sometimes we host smaller tree distributions out in the community, keep an eye on our social media and email list for special events.

We ask that you reserve a limited number of trees, so that others can reserve some too.

Trees are free! Donations are much appreciated to help keep our programs thriving - click the donate button in the tree shop!

Some examples of species we have: black locust, sycamore, oaks, elderberry, redbuds, beautyberry, flowering dogwood, sweet shrub, all-spice, persimmon, maples, hickory.
A species preview list will be posted on social media/email list approximately one week prior to the tree shop opening so you can do your research and select the best tree for your needs.
