At Asheville GreenWorks, we love the opportunity to provide local schools with service learning opportunities. Read more about our environmental education opportunities here. Within our volunteer program, students will learn about urban forestry, water quality and macroinvertebrates, and the path of trash while getting their hands dirty on a service project.
In order for these opportunities to be accessible to all students, public schools in our area can participate at no cost. If you are interested in a service learning project for your private school, please consider making a donation, outlined in this brochure, to Asheville GreenWorks in order to help offset costs and support these opportunities for others. Contact Chelsea Rath at [email protected] or 828-232-7144 for more information. |
