![]() Saturday November 9th - Join us as we make history by cleaning up the areas largest tire dump. Duties will include hauling tires out of the river, installing silt fencing and planting back native trees to restore the banks of the French Broad River from this environmental nightmare. Read the complete story HERE from the Asheville Citizen-Times. We will provide neoprene waders and canoes to the volunteers that will be in the river. Those on land duty will need to dress in boots, long pants, long sleeves and layers.
