Join the Adventure Center of Asheville and Asheville GreenWorks for a celebration of Spring with a few great environmental projects.

Before or after your project time, enjoy the Asheville Treetops Adventure Park, KidZip, or Asheville Ziplines Canopy Adventure for 50% off retail rates. Schedule your adventure: 1-877.247.5539 or adventureavl.com code “SERVICE”

Roadside Cleanup
1pm to 3pm (ages 13+)
Roadside litter is just waiting to creep into our streams and rivers. Take a walk to cleanup roadside trash before it can trash our waterways.

Stream Bank Restoration
10am to 1pm (ages 16+)
Clean up an old trash dump next to Smith Mill Creek. Then volunteers will plant trees along the creek to stabilize the banks to promote local ecological recovery. This will be an educational experience about stream restoration, tree planting and resource conservation.

Smith Mill Creek Cleanup
9am to 11am and again 1pm to pm (ages 13+)
Clean out trash from Smith Mill Creek. We will outfit you with our chest waders and boots so that you can pull that trash directly from the creek. Help save our river from senseless littering!

Tree Potting Party
9am to 11am (all ages)
Join us as we pot hundreds of bare root native tree saplings for our Summer and Fall planting programs. Bring one home to plant on your own!

Tree Planting
1pm to 3pm (ages 5+)
Join us for a tree planting. The Adventure Center will provide several beautiful life giving trees for us to plant. Learn best practices of tree planting from the experts at Asheville GreenWorks.

Help needed:
