Hard 2 Recycle Event - Jan 16th 2016

January 16th 2016 - West Asheville and Candler bring out your broken electronics, dead batteries, old appliances and MORE to be recycled here in the United States. We're hosting two event collection locations for your convenience.

The event sponsors will be accepting the following items: styrofoam, books of any kind, WORKING and broken appliances, spent cooking oil, batteries, CDs / DVD's, cardboard, scrap metals, bicycles, cell phones, toner carts and selected Terracycle items.

Our sponsors are also seeking pet supplies, pet food and cleaning supplies for the Asheville Humane Society. Gently used children's books for the Snake, Rabbit and Snail Bookmobile and WORKING appliances, clean furniture and building supplies for the Asheville area Habitat for Humanity. 

Main event collection location - 10am to 2pm
Parking lot next to the Aaron’s.

Satellite event collection location - 10am to 1pm
Enka AB Tech parking lot with the Goodwill trailer across from Ingles Grocery Store.

WE'RE NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS

Paint, stains, sealers, CFL / Fluorescent / incandescent bulbs; chip & snack bags; petroleum products; hard plastics; vinyl / PVC / VHS / cassette tapes; plate glass, foam; wooden or cement items.
