September 16th - Eric Bradford The 27th Annual NC Big Sweep, river and roadside cleanup was a huge success this year. With 168 volunteers and 64 boats taking on 25 miles of river. Volunteers paddled the Mills, Swannanoa and French Broad Rivers to remove plastics, tires and trash. Altogether we filled 3 trash dumpsters with trash and ended up with 70 tires ready to be recycled. How do we do it?With lots of friends..
