Become an Intern for GreenWorks

Join other interns as they gain experience and knowledge on the inner workings of an environmental non-profit. Have the opportunity to share and gain skills in leadership and group management.
Help GreenWorks protect and conserve our urban environment through community based projects. Be the first to arrive at a project and the last to leave. Arrive home each night tired, dirty yet ready for the next adventure.
Work, learn, and play.
Expectations

Interns will be expected to arrive to each project on time and prepared for the days' assignment. After orientation you will have access to the following programs: River cleanup, stream maintenance, urban forestry, environmental education, recycling events, waste reduction and office support.
Interns seeking to work on the water will be required to demonstrate competent swimming skills and a basic understanding of boating. Monthly orientations will cover basic boating, first aid, water safety and volunteer group management.
