Adopt-A-Street Program
Asheville GreenWorks has partnered with the City of Asheville since 2007 to support our Asheville neighbors committed to keeping our home litter-free.
Adopters agree to clean their City street at least six times a year, for 1 year minimum. With a 3-year commitment, the City of Asheville will create and install a road sign identifying you, your group, or your business as the adopter of the street. Asheville GreenWorks can provide you with bags, safety vests, gloves, and trash grabbers pickers for your street cleanups. Then submit your cleanup record to us using the form below so that we can track numbers and hours for all of our AAS locations. Each year, thousands of pounds of litter are removed from our roadsides through this program! Download the Adopt a Street contract below. Please return it to [email protected] for approval.
