Adopt-A-Street
Do you want to make a long-term commitment to your neighborhood? Contact Asheville GreenWorks to adopt a street.
Adopters agree to clean their street at least six times a year. The city will provide a sign identifying you, your group, or your business as the adopter of the street after you have completed two cleanups. Asheville GreenWorks will provide you with bags, vests, gloves, and litter pickers for your street cleanups. Adopt-A-Street is for roads maintained by the City of Asheville.
Currently there are 134 streets being cared for by individuals and businesses in Asheville and Buncombe County. Our goal is to increase that number significantly in 2010!
